Menstrual cycle is divided as; Day 1 to day 4 - Menstrual phase-Total rest,good food and good sleep. Day 5 to day 13 -Follicular phase of ovary and Proliferative phase of uterus.

  • Treatment should be started after completing the period.

  • From Day 5 to Day 10-The tub has to be filled with sufficient cold water(50-65 degreeF ), and relax for 10 -15 minutes in the tub with the hips, pelvic region(lower abdomen) below the navel inside the water.

  • legs,feet and upper part of the body should be completely dry.

Day 14 -Ovulation

  • From Day 11 to Day 20-The tub has to be filled with sufficient neutral water, and relax for 10 -15 minutes in the tub with the hips, pelvic region(lower abdomen) below the navel inside the water.

Day 15 to day 28-Secretory phase of uterus and luteal phase of ovary

  • From Day 21 to Day 26- 5 min in hot water ,2 min in cold water,5 min in hot water followed by cold shower.This is called as Revulsive hip bath and is the important step in the treatment.

  • From day 27 to onset of period-hot(100-120 degree fahrenheit) water for 10 min followed by cold shower.
